In2Connect are the UK partner to SIAM Telecom of Italy who assemble an exhaustive range of RF and Coaxial connectors
SIAM Telecom has been operating for 30 years in the design and supply of interconnection systems for radio frequency fields, coaxial connectors, connectors for fibre optics, the relevant patchcords and pigtails and components such as splitters (combiners) and antennas.
Its high technical competence, the quality of the products supplied; its compliance with all the reference norms and regulations; synergy with customer and market requirements; punctuality in delivery have made SIAM Telecom a reliable partner. for:
Coaxial connectors ~ 1.8/5.6, 1.0/2.3, 7/16", 4.1/9.5, MMCX, MCX, BT Type 43, SMA, BNC, N, SMB/SMC, SMP, 7/8" EIA Flange, 1 5/8" EIA Flange
Coaxial adapters ~ 7/16", N, 7/8" EIA Flange, BNC, N jack 90 degree
Fibre optics ~ connectors, patch cables, bulk cable, patch panels/splice trays
Cable Assemblies and jumpers for GPS and GSM modules:
Flexible Cables Flexible cables are particularly suitable for connections, both inside and outside of the equipment, where cables must follow the shape of, or move with the device; or in long connection paths. Different types of cable and connectors can be used to assemble the most suitable product for the application.
Conformable Cables Conformable cables may be used with many different connector types. The cable can be bent by hand, and maintains the shape it is given. Its electrical performance at very high frequencies is excellent, offering a good compromise between flexible and semi-rigid cable assemblies.
Semi-rigid Cables Semi-rigid cables can be used with a variety of connectors. The cable is made up of an internal conductor (hot pole), an insulator, and an external conductor made of extruded copper with a cylindrical shape (cold pole); some types have a rubber sheath in addition to the external copper. This cable is factory shaped by machine, according to the customer's specification. This type of cable is the best for uniformity and for maintaining electrical performance constant at very high frequencies.
Cable assemblies are available, using mainly type N and 7/16 connectors for ½", ¼", 1-5/8" foam and superflex cables for installing antenna feeds. These cables can be assembled in a traditional way using connectors with an internal silicone o-ring for water resistance (IP68), and are also available "moulded", with a plastic over-moulding between the connector zone and the cable. Cable assemblies are also available, which are terminated with EIA flanges supplied with an assembly kit in stainless steel, inner contact, and gaskets in silicone rubber. |
