Connector

New from Conec, a bayonet locking, IP67 rated industrial USB 2.0 connector system for harsh environments.

The IP67 USB Socket can be mounted on the front or rear side of enclosure panels with thickness up to 3.2 mm. This interface meets IP67 rating requirements when a mating connector is inserted or when covered with a secured protective cap. A USB 2.0 plug set is available for the cable side and there are also preassembled patch cords available in various IP protection designs and lengths.

For heavy duty applications a metal version is available. These installation sockets, plug sets and protective caps have a metal jacket with M28 thread design. Applications for this version include machine tool, automation, automotive, mass transportation and extreme harsh environmental applications.

USB 2.0 waterproof 2

The existing product line of IP67 rated RJ45 and USB connectors featuring bayonet locking design in accordance with IEC61076-3-106 type 1 is now available with diecast housings. Compatibility between enclosures made with various materials is adhered to in accordance to IEC61076-3-106.
The die cast housings are nickel plated and provide excellent shielding against EMI-RFI.
